i was reading this on s0ulsistaz Idah's bloggie -

I wonder if votes nowadays are based on race or capability. Just because a malay won last two years, people have been sayin not to vote for another malay this year. So wth. So childish of these people. Well afterall best man win..And another malay takes the title. Maybe its just a reality that malays sing better. what-so-ever.. im no racist here but i really get pissed off all those tags at some blogs. Even though im a malay, i too get pissed off when a friend who is a malay ask me to vote for a malay.. Geez.. GROW UP PEOPLE!! LETS BE NEUTRAL! Both are great, but only one person can get the title.. That's the rule of a competition.

Reminded me of the conversation that my bros and mom and i had on our way to KL earlier this month... back when we tot that Hady Mirza had a 1 out of 2 chance of winning the Idol title -

"Hady will win and then the 3rd season of SI will have these criteria for auditions -

1) Must be Bilingual
2)Mandarin speaking preffered...

eh no....

2) Able to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage

and we laffing our way out from the top deck of bus #168. Haha... and that conversation replayed on the nite Hady won. Dont u think if they could do that, they would?? Nyeh heh heh.. I might get sued for this.. but then again, that's Singapore for you. Rite s0ulsistaz, Idah??

Dont get me wrong... i dont like racial sentiments. And i AM happy living in this small island. Sometimes, it's best to laugh at the satires of life... Singaporeans are getting way too serious... Learn to laugh, pple!

This entry a tad late... but whatever...

Anak melayu menang lagi!! There were speculations that because last season anak melayu dah menang, this season they're not gonna let an anak melayu win again. Thanks to the full voting concept that a certain Simon Fuller had thought of.. that didnt happen. I guess, as per last season, Hady had maximum support of the other anak2 melayu. Of course, anak2 melayu are never gonna let a cheena win if they had the power to do so. ^_^

Whatever it is... I congrat Hady Mirza - MY Singapore idol since the very beginning (thought i tot he was having troubles in the group stages.. lolz)
